CLEANING SPILLS:
WOOL

Step 1

For liquid spills, absorb as much as possible with a thick, absorbent towel. For solid spills, use a spatula or utensil to scrape and remove as much of the soiling as possible. 

Step 2 

Once the spill has been removed, pour cold water over the stain until it is lightly covered, then blot with a thick, absorbent towel. Repeat this process until the stain is gone. For stubborn stains, use a small amount of wool-safe detergent mixed with warm water. Dip a cloth into the solution and apply it to the stain, repeating until the stain disappears. 

Step 3 

If the stain persists, use a spot-clean spray. Lightly spray over the stain, wait a few moments, and then blot with a damp cloth. Repeat until the stain is gone, then vacuum once dry.

BAMBOO SILK & WOOL BLEND
Applicable only if the rug has been treated with our Premium Surface Protection. For untreated rugs, please contact a professional rug & carpet cleaner.

JUTE

Step 2

After removing the spill, pour cold water over the stain to lightly cover it, then blot with a thick, absorbent towel. Repeat this process until the stain is gone.

If the stain persists, use a spot cleaner. Spray lightly over the stain, wait a few moments, and then blot with a damp cloth. Repeat until the stain is gone, then vacuum once dry.

We highly recommend adding Premium Surface Protection to every rug.

Premium Surface Protection is a comprehensive solution designed to protect rugs and carpets from stains and damaging UVA and UVB rays while preserving the appearance and texture of the fibres. 

Unlike other products, Premium Surface Protection penetrates and coats each fibre, eliminating the need for reapplication after cleaning and lasting through 10 commercial cleans. 

This protection is applied in a simple, one-time treatment by an approved Premium Surface Protection applicator. 

All rug orders with Premium Surface Protection are treated before dispatch. Please note this may add a few extra days to our standard delivery timeframe.
UNDERLAY
An underlay prevents your rug from slipping on hardwood floors. To set it up, fully unfold the underlay and lay it flat on the floor with the white side facing down. Press firmly to ensure there are no lumps, then roll your rug over the top. Having two people perform this task makes it much easier to manage.
VACUUMING
We recommend regularly vacuuming your rug to keep it looking crisp. For best results, use a motorised head with the brushes off and vacuum in the direction of the weave.
