Extremely lustrous and pillowy underfoot, this elegant rug is hand-crafted using a blend of pure New Zealand Wool and Bamboo Silk in a range of deep colours.

Lush and delicate, Bamboo Silk is a sustainably harvested, pesticide-free yarn that is grown without the use of nasty chemicals. Pure New Zealand wool – a yarn that has the ability to bounce back and maintain shape and pile height, is added to strengthen the overall construction of the rug.

Wool is added to this style for its ease of cleaning as it repels stains, dirt and odour. Wool is also antimicrobial and hypoallergenic, it absorbs noise, and is breathable and fire retardant. It is a totally renewable and biodegradable fibre.

Best suited to lower traffic areas - lounge rooms, bedrooms, nooks.

*Due to the natural fibre and handmade nature of this rug, some little bits of yarn may pop up over time. This is not a fault, only part of the nature of the rug and these can simply be trimmed down.

Due to the nature of this fibre we strongly recommend having the Bamboo Silk treated with Microseal to protect it. This rug does not like liquid being spilt on it and requires specialist cleaning, please be aware of this and ensure it is fit for purpose before purchasing.
