Please note that although every effort is made to photograph our products accurately, we cannot guarantee every computer monitor will accurately depict the actual colour of the merchandise. 'Available Now' or 'In Stock' means it's in our Auckland warehouse and ready to ship.

If we have the item on back order (on its way), this will be noted with our best estimate of the delivery date to you. You can then pre order and we will reserve that item for you for when it arrives. We'll confirm this with you the same (business) day we receive your order. If you would rather pay a 50% deposit for an out of stock item, with the balance payable upon delivery, just get in touch and we can arrange that for you.  Please email hello@nodirugs.com for any pre-orders. 

Payment Options

Credit Card Online Facility

Payment is safe via our secure facility Shopify managed payment gateway; Nodi Rugs does not keep any record of your credit card details, and our website is secure, meeting the latest NZ PCI standards. Your details are handled by Shopify, and are only used when being transmitted to the appropriate credit card agency for processing. We only receive the first six and last two digits of your credit card, just to help identify your orders.

Credit card payments will show on your statement as our trading name, Nodi Rugs.

Direct Credit via Internet Banking

If you wish to pay via Direct Credit, please email our showroom on hello@nodirugs.com and we can email you an invoice advising our bank account details. Please allow a business day for payment to appear in our bank account.

Order & Pay via Phone

If you are having trouble using our website, please phone us on (09) 390 0370.to place your order, and provide us with payment and address details. Normal business hours are Monday - Friday 9.00am to 5pm, Saturday 10am-2pm excluding public holidays.

Currency

All prices are in the local currency for AU, NZ and the US, any countries outside of these please email us on hello@nodirugs.com for a quote.   We do not keep any customer credit card details. We accept payment by direct deposit (from NZ customers only, please send e-mail to enquire) and credit card (All major credit cards).  For all orders outside NZ please contact hello@nodirugs.com.


Pricing Information

Nodi Rugs has the right to alter pricing on the website at any time without notice. For any questions relating to products, pricing or other matters please contact us.

Pricing or Website Error

If an item is advertised for sale at a particular price either on the Nodi Rugs website or in store, Nodi Rugs reserves the right to advise you, our customer, that an error has been made and the price is incorrectly advertised. We do not have to sell the item for the advertised price in the event that it is a genuine mistake. This is in compliance with the Fair Trading Act 1986. The Act protects the consumer against being mislead or treated unfairly by retailers. It also protects retailers when genuine mistakes occur with pricing errors.

Products

At Nodi Rugs our focus is on hand made, individual items, being a handmade product some variation in colour and size will occur, the below variations can occur - these are not considered flaws but part of the nature of a hand crafted product;

  • Each rug is hand dyed at the time of production and variance between samples and products will occur, although our artisans take every measure to ensure accurate colour matching, a slight variation may occur from dye lot to dye lot.  
  • As our products are handmade it is impossible to achieve an exact size and can vary between +/- 5%, this is considered normal and acceptable.
  • Natural rugs will fade in the sun, please beware of this when you are placing your rug in a room. We suggest applying MicroSeal to decrease the fading and rotating your rug often for even colour fade.  
  • Any shedding with Felted Wool and Jute is to be expected, being a natural fibre, the rug will shed in the initial stages of its life, this is a characteristic of the fibre and will settle over time and is not considered a fault but a characteristic of the fibre.
  • Pilling can occur due to traffic, moving furniture, vacuuming or other mechanical agitation. This can be trimmed with scissors.
  • Pop ups: due to the type of weaving, there will be short fibres popping up while the rug settles. This can be trimmed or pushed through.

Warranty: Nodi Rugs are handmade and are therefore unable to have an unconditional warranty. However, we will repair or replace any rug if it is defective during the 12 months from the date of purchase provided the rug was used for normal household purposes and maintained in accordance with the care instructions.

Any improper or negligent use or neglect will void this warranty. The warranty applies to household residential use only and not to any commercial, contract, rental, trade, institutional or other non-residential use. If you wish to make a claim under this warranty, you must provide photographic evidence to support your claim.

If you have any concerns regarding your rug please contact us to discuss. We will ask you to provide:

- the invoice number and date of purchase; and

- a top shot of the product with two close-up images of the defect.

For the avoidance of doubt, a product is not defective if there is a manufacturing variation referred to above.

Custom Orders: custom orders we do not exchange, refund or accept returns for change of mind, unless faulty as these have been made to order especially for you.

Current lead times for our container shipments are 20 weeks from our order cut off date, these are subject to change without notice – you will be advised at the time of purchase the current expected delivery date.  Please email hello@nodirugs.com for any information on our container cut off and delivery dates. 

For custom orders choosing Air Freight, the current lead time is 20 weeks.  

All shipping dates are provided according to our buy plan, any manufacturing and/or shipping delays are beyond our control we therefore cannot commit to any arrival dates until we have the product in our warehouse.  We will update you on ETA’s to the best of our ability with the information provided from our manufacturers and shipping partners.

For custom orders, a 50% deposit is required in order to commence production, the 50% balance is to be paid in full prior to delivery. This deposit is non refundable for change of mind or cancelled orders and deposit being received is acceptance of Nodi Handmade Rugs Terms and Conditions.  

For all custom orders that are ordered from a sample, it must be noted each rug is hand dyed at the time of production and variance between samples and products will occur, although our artisans take every measure to ensure accurate colour matching, a slight variation may occur from dye lot to dye lot, being a handmade item there will be some variation in colour and size - these are not flaws but part of the nature of a handmade product. A +/- 5% size variation is considered normal and acceptable.  We do not offer any return or refunds due to colour variations from samples. We respect our right under consumer law not to offer refunds on orders because of delays caused by natural disasters. production and shipping delays, these are not grounds for refunds under any circumstances as they are ultimately beyond our control.

Returns and Exchanges 

We aim to depict items and images on our website as true as possible to the products but cannot guarantee every device will accurately depict the actual colour of the merchandise.

We do not refund if you have changed your mind about a particular purchase, so please choose carefully.  To help with your decision making, we do offer samples,  in home design consultations and appro on all our rugs (Auckland only) and  if you live outside Auckland we can use our Visualiser tool for you to virtually see one of our rugs in your space – if you are still unsure and require further help please call our showroom and one of our design consultants will be able to help (09) 390 0370 .

For custom orders we do not exchange, refund or accept returns unless faulty as these have been made to order especially for you.  Return shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser and is only covered by Nodi Rugs should an item be faulty. In the event of an item being faulty, we will meet our obligations under the consumer guarantees act. Please contact us within 3 days of receipt of goods and keep the goods and all packaging in the same order that they arrived so we can arrange for the return of the damaged goods. Once returned Nodi Rugs will assess goods and endeavour to replace or repair items in the first instance, credit and refunds will be issued at the discretion of Nodi Rugs. Please note should your item need to be re-made, this will take 20 weeks to have re-made. In this instance we will return your faulty rug for use during this time. 

Sale Items may include faults and are sold as is, all sale items are final sale and not eligible for return, exchange or refund.


Underlay and MicroSeal 

MicroSeal is applied prior to delivery. This service can be arranged on your behalf, any issues arising with the parties is to be raised directly with the third party company.

Underlay is supplied from our warehouse and will arrive with your rug. 

Nodi takes no responsibility for any services related to third party companies such as couriers and MicroSeal New Zealand.

Delivery

We deliver within Auckland on a Tuesday and Thursday between 8am-1pm each week, we will contact you with confirmation of your delivery day via email and our carrier will call you to confirm the night before.  We do offer a timed delivery and installation service for an additional cost. Please contact us for details. This service is only available in the Auckland area currently.

Auckland deliveries are delivered and carried inside your house to required room only, rural and nationwide deliveries are sent via freight which means only one driver delivers to driveway only and someone will need to be on the other end to help unload.

North Island $125

Delivery is deemed to be effective when the delivery company receives a signed receipt or delivery docket confirming that the goods were received. If the packaging is damaged, please do not sign the delivery docket and contact us immediately.

International Orders  

We ship to Australia and the US. Please get in touch with our team at: hello@nodirugs.com for an accurate shipping quote based on your location and to assist with best delivery options.

We will send your order’s tracking number via email once processed so you’re able to keep a close eye on when to expect your delivery. If you have any questions our team is here to help, simply email us: hello@nodirugs.com 

Please note all air freight quotes are indicative only. On custom orders the final air freight costs will be confirmed at the time of shipping, as our lead time is 20 weeks we cannot guarantee freight quotes so far in advance, the quotes are to provide an indicative cost at the time of quoting only. Please note freight costs are subject to increases within the Industry beyond our control.

Note that any local taxes and duties are the responsibility of the purchaser. Nodi Rugs sends all international orders DAP (Delivery at Place). Nodi Rugs is responsible for ensuring goods arrive safely to destination and the buyer is responsible for any import duties or local taxes that may apply. We cannot guarantee local tax and duty fees will not be imposed when purchasing outside of New Zealand, please contact your local office for more information. Nodi Rugs takes no responsibility for any delay in the processing of your purchase should local taxes or duties be applied.
