We're excited to step inside another friends home and as part of our Nodi Hello from home series.
Welcome inside Ali McIntosh of Tessuti's home - we explore how she is spending her days in lockdown with her collection of treasures and beloved labrador Monty. Ali has a special gift when it comes to sourcing the most unique pieces to create a home of sanctuary and retreat.
What does lockdown look like for you?
I am being gentle on myself and finding a new rhythm to my days but still getting everything done, just not with all the rushing around!
I am a natural homebody, so that side of lockdown hasn't been so hard for me.
What daily ritual or routine is making ‘lockdown’ more enjoyable?
Monty and I are in our own bubble, so walks with him have been a lifesaver. Also exchanging with friends movies and series to watch has been perfect. I recently enjoyed the movie 'Hidden Figures' which I hadn't seen before. And on Netflix 'The English Game'
What is inspiring you right now? A book, an episode, a movie?
Having more time to look through my (many!) cook books and interior books has been really lovely and a constant source of inspiration.
Guy Mirabella - Eat Ate (for cooking and stories) is an old favorite I have picked up again. Ducksoup: The Wisdom of Simple Cooking (delicious) And Axel Vervoordt, Francois Halard, Interiors Atelier AM for interior inspiration right now.
